The Dog Walk
For the first time, rescue dogs take to the runway to present Ralph Lauren’s Fall 2013 Accessories Collection.
It’s easy to fall in love with the models at a fashion show. With their exotic features, flowing manes and look-at-me attitude, they each radiate glamour with every step. And now, thanks to the Internet, it’s just as easy to follow them when they’re off the runway.
But when those models have four legs and a tail, keeping up can be tricky. After they starred in The Dog Walk, Ralph Lauren’s accessories showcase featuring adoptable dogs that was filmed in collaboration with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (10 percent of the proceeds from the purchase price of selected accessories featured in the film will be donated to the ASPCA), we tracked down a few of our favorite furry faces to find out where they went and what life is like now that they’re out of the shelter and in a loving home.
